Fabrics
Our textile collections consist of fabrics that are designed by us in Berlin and produced exclusively for GAZUR by two manufacturers in Portugal and Italy.
When designing textiles there are many factors to consider in order to achieve the feeling and shape we want for the final product. The way fabric is woven or knitted and its yarn components determine its final qualities. We must choose carefully which materials to combine and consider their production process.
Inspiration
For our fabric design, we seek inspiration in the urban surrounding. We observe people, urban landscapes and trends, and develop our collections based on the colors and shapes we see. We aim to create garments that will address seasonal needs and add elegance and style to your outfit.
100% Cotton Yarn
As we prefer to work with natural materials, the main component of our fabrics is cotton, which is breathable, durable, warm and easy to handle.
Elegant SUIT collection is woven with 100% Cotton yarn.
Regenerated Yarn
This yarn is spun using scraps of new clothes, waste from clothing manufacture. The scraps are blended to make new colors. The fiber, mainly cotton, is then refined and a small amount of a “sliver” fiber (acrylic, polyester, viscose) is spun into the yarn to give strength, durability, and rebound to the lovely soft yarn. All GILLIO, CANNOLI & ALBA collections are knitted with regenerated (recycled) yarn.
