We are committed to making products that create a positive impact—through the targeted use of circular materials and through fair, transparent working conditions along our entire supply chain.

RECYCLED LEATHER

For our leather accessories, we use exclusively leftover leather pieces sourced from furniture manufacturers. These pieces are often discarded due to minor shade variations, small faults, or because they are too small for large furniture production. For us, that is precisely where their special quality lies: we see beauty in imperfection and have developed designs that efficiently utilize even the smallest pieces of leather with minimal waste.

REGENERATED YARN

For our scarves and accessories, we use a regenerated yarn made primarily from cotton remnants of clothing production. These textile leftovers are processed and complemented with new fiber components (acrylic, polyester, viscose) to create a yarn that is durable, long-lasting, and luxuriously soft. This process breathes new life into leftover material - the essence of the circular economy.

All collections by GILLIO, CANNOLI, BISCOTTI, and ALBA are made from this yarn.

Social Responsibility & Local Craft

Just as important as the materials are the hands that make our products. We work closely with small, specialized workshops in Germany, Spain, Portugal, and Italy that guarantee fair wages, good working conditions, and transparent processes.

All textiles are made in Italy and Portugal, and our leather wallets in Spain and Berlin.

Our signature leather straps are produced in a factory in north-west Germany that employs people with disabilities.
