Wallet Care

By following a few simple care instructions, you will enjoy a long-lasting leather
product which will age beautifully and will develop its own unique look.

Our recommendation:
Don't try to keep them looking as new! Leather will show signs of wear over time.

Avoid placing on or in damp or wet surfaces. Humidity or liquid will ruin the leather. If your wallet got wet, dry it carefully with a soft cloth (an old T-shirt or similar). Let the wallet dry completely before using it again.

do not dry directly in the sun since the leather can shrink, lose or change its color.

Don't use a heater such as a blow dryer! With speed drying leather changes its chemical structure -
Dry it slowly. let it be in the room temperature.

Leather will remember the shape it had when wet, so empty the wallet from cards, coins and any other items and lay it flat on a smooth surface.

Avoid exposure to direct heat and sunlight - when exposed to sunlight leather might shrink, lose or change its color, crack and change its texture.

if leather got too dry, rub something moist into it. Pick a light leather dressing or cream that is made from reasonably natural ingredients and doesn't have coloring in it.

Your leather products do not need extensive treatment to begin with. Depending on the composition, this would completely seal the pores of the leather and thus reduce the breathability to a minimum. Only after a long period of use does it make sense to give leather accessory some of the lost moisture back to keep it flexible.

In general, there is no need to clean your wallet on a regular basis.

If leather gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth without detergents. Dry carefully at room temperature.

If your wallet has been stained, use an alcohol-free leather cleaner. Try it first on a hidden spot to avoid unexpected reaction. These products vary from country to country, please consult your local supplier.

Do not try to remove stains that have penetrated the leather by rubbing hard. This can also damage the surface.

Never try to remove stains with strong solvents (acetone, nail polish remover, turpentine, etc.) or with abrasives. This tends to make the spots bigger.

Do not treat the leather with unsuitable products. Shoe polish, cosmetic cream, floor wax, etc.

Extra careful when using pens near leather as ink can soak below the surface & won't come out.

Test first any applications in a hidden area, then use the product over a large area from seam to seam.

Leather tends to stretch and not go back to its original shape.
If you stretch a leather bag when wet or very humid, it will change its shape quickly.

We suggest not to overload your wallet (see recommended card capacity in each product).
Leather tends to stretch and will not go back to its original shape, so don't overload your wallet. As a wonderful side effect - you will carry only what is necessary.

The elastic band is strong and durable. Nevertheless, its elasticity will be affected by overloading your wallet.

Avoid wrap it in plastic, as your leather needs to breathe. Leather is best kept in a cotton bag which store the item in comfort. A few leaves of lavender or laurel will keep good smell and the bugs away.
